As a very strong supporter of both VisitBritain and VisitEngland, and the roles they are charged with delivering under the Development of Tourism Act, I am concerned by some aspects, and the potential consequences, of recent changes.

Public funding is scarce, so it must be applied most appropriately, as we work together to optimise the benefits that tourism can bring.
